What joy! This family recently became whole with the addition of sweet Emmie & Jack, and we couldn’t feel more privileged to document them.
This year, we’ve felt the weight of stories from those around us who have struggled or are struggling with infertility. We’ve seen the grief it causes and the waiting game it plays, and it was a part of Yancy and Joy’s life for many years. After recently celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary and officially adopting Emmie & Jack, we’re so thankful to be witnesses to this new time in their lives.
They would tell you that God protected them and saved them for His perfect timing. They would tell you that living life through the eyes of your children is a joy that’s hard to explain. They would tell you that it’s still weird to see their names and the word parent associated with one another! But, we’d tell you, they’re naturals! This family is wonderful, and we can’t wait to see the blessings ahead of them.
