Love based on friendship is an ideal start, in our opinion! Time spent becoming familiar with your person’s charms and quirks, making memories and building dreams in the safest of spaces, and learning to love one another well can only lead to a solid marriage, right? Well, that’s what Kelly & Michael have.
These two met in college, lived through a long distance relationship, and tied the knot after 7 years of dating! Kelly easily thinks of others first, is fiercely sentimental and family oriented. As you’ll see in their pictures, she wore her mom’s (slightly modified) wedding dress as she married Michael, had pictures displayed of past weddings in their families, carried on her hometown tradition of a receiving line after the ceremony, and wore a “something blue” pin on her bouquet that her grandmother gave her. She is all about the details, which matches perfectly with Michael’s laid back character. He is a kind, old soul who loves animals and has a fun sense of humor!
We’re so excited for these sweet friends as they continue life with one another as Mr. and Mrs.! Take a look back at their day.
